Dots Star Joe is a fully AQHA registered reining Quarter Horse. He was imported by us to the UK in 2003.  He was trained by David Gray and competed both with David and Hollie.  He has competed with huge success in reining competitions including winning 'Limited Open' and 'Open reining' & 'Championship' titles.

Joe has a wonderful temperament & stunning looks which we are seeing passed onto his first crop of foals, all of which have the added bonus that so far every foal has been palomino or dun!  Joe has been used to breed both Quarter horses and Appendix Quarter Horses.  The appendix is a Quarter horse X Thoroughbred.  Combining two of the best breeds produces such a versatile allrounder it is classified as a breed in its own right.  With steady temperaments, strength, stamina and agility Appendix Quarter horses are the perfect allrounder and competition horse.

Having now retired Joe from competition we have made the decision to have Joe gelded so he can spend more time relaxing in the field.  2010 will be his last season for natural coverings.   From 2011 frozen semem will be available to a strictly limited number of mares only.
