Fosterhouses Huckleberry

 

 

Fosterhouses Huckleberry is fully WPCS registered and holds a full stallion license.  He is also British palomino Society registered.

 

 

Fosterhouses Huckleberry combines all the great qualities of a true Welsh mountain pony.  He has a great tail set with plenty of bone and feather.  He has a beautiful dished head and gentle eye, added to this his tremendous movement and outstanding presence he is the perfect Welsh pony!  He is a beautiful golden shade of palomino so has the added bonus of producing foals for colour.  His temperament is faultless and we have enjoyed every moment with him since he came to the stud.

 

 

 

Fosterhouses Huckleberry has only been lightly shown but has so far consistently placed first or second.  His sire Owston Hullabaloo (now gelded) has been very successfully shown at county standard and has qualified for Equifest, Royal London, NPS, Equestrian Life, Amateur Showing Society and PUK.

Owston Hullabaloo is maternal half-brother to Owston Harvest who needs little inroduction as a sire of quality stock who stood at some very well known studs including Springbourne/blanche and Friars. Hullabaloo and Harvest share the same Medal-Winning dam 'Penboeth Yoyo' who has numerous show wins including Champion at shows such as Great Yorkshire Show and West Yorkshire WPCA Spring Show.  In 1997 Yoyo was the winner of the Section A Group in the S&NWPCA Progeny Competition along with her daughters Owston Hayley and Owston Hoity Toity.
